The Kyadondo East law maker, hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi wine maker has warned the speaker of parliament Hon. Rebecca Kadaga against her unlawful decisions that she has made since the age limit debate commenced.
Hon. Kyagulanyi said that the speaker’s decisions are very premature and unbelievable especially coming from a person who had gained a lot of respect from the citizens.
“Whenever we try to say out our views, she would try to stop us which is very premature,” said the Kyadondo east law maker.
Kyagulanyi further added that the speaker is not allowing opposition members to air out their views and is only giving a platform to the people who are in support of the amendment so that they can defend the amendment and confuse the whole country.
“I am sorry to say but the speaker is compromised and will not allow any dissenting views,” Kyagulanyi complained.
This comes after the parliament legal committee tabled the report about the amendment of article 102(b) that seeks to scrap off the age limit and allow Museveni to contest in 2021 as president.
