City socialist Brian Kirumira aka Bryan White has this morning been granted bail.
While appearing before the Makindye chief Magistrates Elias Kakooza, Bryan was asked to commit a 10m cash bond to himself and his co-accused Thomas Okoth, a police officer attached to Crime Intelligence.
Court however also tasked Bryan to also submit his passport and restricted from travels outside the country till his case is climaxed.
He is expected to reappear before court on 30th January for his case hearing.
Brian White was picked up last month for allegedly shooting and injuring Victor Bitwire outside his home in Buziga, a Kampala suburb.
He was slapped with attempted murder charges and locked up at Kabalagala Police Station, transferred to Nalufenya prison and later to Luzira prison where he has spent about 2 weeks.
