Singer Azizi Azion

With just a few hours left, singer Aziz Azion seems determined to make a huge comeback in 2018, after spending the last year keeping a low profile.

Last week, the “Wampisa” star released two new videos, in what is now becoming a trend of double releases. As if that is not enough, we have learnt that the “Nzikiriza” star has been selected to grace the biggest live music platform in Uganda today — Unplugged Sn 2.

When we caught up with him over the weekend, Aziz, who is reported to be spending sleepless nights rehearsing promised that he will “deliver an exciting performance this Wednesday.”

Unplugged Sn 2 – a weekly show at Liquid Silk Nalya – is now reputed as the biggest live music show in Kampala today so we can understand Aziz’s dilemma.

Maro, Ykee Benda, Bebe Cool, Geosteady, Chameleon and Iryn Namubiru are some of the popular entertainers who have pulled off two hour nonstop performances to a packed elite crowd already, and Aziz will have the opportunity to prove himself this week.

Aziz Azion who started his career as a backup instrumentalist, worked with most Ugandan artists, including Chameleone. He later kick-started his solo career with the release of his single “Monday.”

To date, Aziz Azion continues to rank highly among the elite performing artists, with tracks like “Yegwe”, “Nzikiriza”, “Nakupenda”, “Wampisa”, “Beautiful.”

This Wednesday 24th is definitely one worth attending, so we shall bring you the live updates.
