Kitatta set to be released without trial

its now a matter of time for embattled patron of Boda Boda 2010 Abdullah Kitatta to be freed from custody where he has slept for more than a week.

This follows Uganda Police force move to release the list of suspects implicated in the murder of Case clinic accountant with Kitatta’s disregarded.

According to the information issued by the police spokesperson Emilian Kayima reveals that so far a total number of 18 suspects have already been released though Kitatta is still in detention to help in instigation.

Among the ascended names to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) include Muzamiru Mawa (driver to Dr Ssebbale Kato, the proprietor of Case Hospital), Resty Goretti Nalunga, Huzairu Kiwalabye (Abdullah Kitata’s brother), Deo Yiga, Hamza Mulema — Case Hospital guard, Vicent Chandir — Case Hospital guard, Kikandi Muhindo — Congolese and David  Bizimani a Congolese national too.

“The case file has been worked on, duly submitted to the DDP [Director of Public Prosecution] for perusal and then we shall be guided on the next course of action,” Kayima told journalists on Monday.

He however adds that police will go ahead with more investigations to see that if there still more perpetrators they are brought to book immediately.
