‘People’s Presidents’ H.E. Raila Odinga with his counterpart H.E. Dr. Kiiza Besigye
Veteran politician Dr. Kiiza Besigye has hailed Kenya’s Raila Odinga upon going against all odds and taking Oath as the People’s President.
In a message passed via his Tweeter handle, Besigye notes that Kenyan people have a right to believe in anyone they voted.
He says that election results may be tilted by government mafia groups but the people power and support for the rightful candidate shall never fade.
Uganda’s “People’s President” also says that this move is an important part of the struggle for democratic transition of power on the African Continent.
“No one can doubt that these people have their president- People’s President! A result of election results that aren’t believable. Making the point an important part of the struggle for democratic transition.” He tweeted.
Raila Odinga took Oath as the Kenyan People’s President yesterday amidst countless threats and heavy deployment from the State.
The event that was held at Uhuru Park was attended by thousands of his supporters who were seen chanting and dancing on songs of Victory all day long.
