Embattled former Buyende district DPC ASP Muhammad Kirumira has finally started tasting the doors of justice.
This follows his appearance before the police disciplinary court in Naguru to answer different counts related to abuse of office.
Kirumira who appeared early this morning, seemed to be fine and restlessly smiled to whoever smiled at him.
Kirumira is being charged with six counts; torture, unlawful arrests, corruption, bribery, extortion and excessive use of authority which he allegedly committed when he was in-charge of Nansana Police Station and Old Kampala as division police commander in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
He was forcefully pulled out of his home in Bulenga and later arraigned before the police court and sent to the much dreaded Nalufenya detention center in Jinja District.
