The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretary general Justin Kasule Lumumba has re-affirmed her take on the embattled Rubaga Division party chairperson Abdullah Kittata.
Speaking while appearing on CBS FM on Thursday evening, Lumumba said that the crimes against Kittata were committed outside the office of the ruling party therefore she/ party have no reason to get involved the case.
She says Kittata has the freedom to resume his duties as the party chairperson when he climaxes with his criminal offenses but if he thinks that the party secretariat will redeem him from the national detention center, then he is mistaken.
Lumumba was escorted with the party spokesperson and the Mityana North lawmaker who doubles as the State minister of Tourism Hon. G. Kiwanda Ssuubi.
Kittata was arrested along with other leaders of the Boda Boda 2010 association over allegations related to murder and gun violence.
