Celebrated academician Dr. Stella Nyanzi has described the 317 MPs that travelled to Kiboga for the age limit removal celebrations as evil bootlickers.
Nyanzi who made the comment via her Facebook account noted that the lawmakers were supposed to be making an official gathering to apologize to Ugandans but not celebrating for selling the Pearl of Africa.
“The madness of the 317 Members of Parliament who voted to remove presidential age limits from our constitution is pure and absolute. What is there to celebrate or hold a thanksgiving ceremony about? Shouldn’t these evil bootlickers instead tear their blood stained clothes, wear sack clothes, rub their ugly bodies with ashes, mourn and repent for shamelessly wronging Uganda? Oh God, why did you abandon this country? Shame on the 317 MPs!” Nyanzi posted.
The event in Kiboga district was organized by the party chief whip who doubles as the area Woman members Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa and the historicals in the area to celebrate a milestone of keeping the president in power under the of “ Museveni Nonstop.”
The 317 ruling party Members of Parliament are the exceptional people who voted in support of the removal of article 102b from the constitution the only clause that was denying president Museveni a chance to run for the next term of office.
However in exchange, the president also rewarded the lawmakers and other local council leaders with more two years of office implying that they will be in the positions they hold till 2023.
