Kiboga celebrations are a waste of money- Opposition MPS

Opposition legislators have expressed disappointment on the Move by their counterparts in the NRM party to celebrate the removal of the presidential age limit and launch of their full support of the planned referendum towards the end of this year to extend the presidents years in office from five to seven.

The opposition Members of parliament also questioned where funds that were used to organize the victory party came from when the government is failing to pay most of the salaries complaining that there are no funds.

“It is unfortunate that we are spending money to celebrate having defeated Ugandans. it is very sad that the NRM lawmakers are very evil that they can spend such money on something Ugandans are against.  It is evident that they are denying the chance for Ugandans to experience change,” said Latif Ssebagala, MP Kawempe North.

Much more, the Mityana Municipality MP has called upon all NRM lawmakers to put an end to all the evil and allow Ugandans to peacefully experience change in their country.

“Its very absurd of what the NRM government is doing. Please stop all the evil plans and stop denying all Ugandans a peacefull transition of power,” said Hon. Francis Zaake.

Opposition MPs have further accused NRM MPs for holding discussions outside parliament which according to them they believe is disrespect to the parliament.
