The Member of Parliament Butambala Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi has experienced his sincere disappointment with the Uganda security forces especially the Uganda Police Force.
Speaking while appearing on CBS FM on Wednesday evening, Kivumbi noted that regardless of challenges almost in every government office, the rate at which the Uganda police force has played a mediocre game is far beyond reasonable doubt.
Kivumbi says one wonders why IGP Gen. Kayihura is still in office after leading the institution which can’t even compile a report on a petty crime.
He says the force is well funded with a nice unquestionable budget but its unfortunate Kayihura has prioritized attacks against the opposition and ignored criminals.
“Very many people, young and big including their very own have been killed under unclear circumstances but has anyone ever hard the police bringing a clear report on any of the cases? What type of force works on speculations from day year after year?” Kivumbi asked.
Kivumbi however challenged government to launch extra efforts in the fight against criminals because soon those being massaged will soon start attacking more official something that might be hard to fight when its late.
