The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party has resolved to challenge the opposition’s Victory in Jinja East.
Speaking during the press conference, the Party secretary General Kasule Lumumba said that their legal team is busy working on the paper work to have the case filed immediately.
Lumumba insists the ground was not leveled for their candidate since it involved of intimidation, campaigning beyond time, voter bribery among others.
She says her candidate Igeme Nabeta would have overwhelmingly won the race.
It should be noted that this move comes after the huge political blow levied by opposition’s Paul Mwiru who won the race with 6654 against 5043 for NRM’s Igeme Nabeta.
