Ruling party’s lawmaker Hon. Moses Balyeku has threatened to drag Forum for Democratic Change’s Paul Mwiru to court over defamation.
Speaking to the media yesterday, Balyeku said that his name is bigger than that of Mwiru, therefore will be accountable for his statements.
Balyeku also wondered why Hon. Mwiru alleged that intercepted pre-ticked ballots were in his house.
“Paul Mwiru alleged that pre-ticked ballots were in my house & that I am the ‘Ssabafele’. My name is bigger than his, he will be accountable for his statements.” Hon. Balyeku said.
These comments followed the party secretary General’s move to challenge Paul Mwiru’s victory in court over alleged malpractices.
However according to Paul Mwiru who doubles as the FDC Deputy Party Spokesperson laughed off and described all that as being plotted by the ruling party as kicks of a dying horse.
