Mwiru in the House
Opposition’s Paul Mwiru has this afternoon taken Oath as the legitimately elected Jinja East Lawmaker.
The event was led by the Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah saw the Forum for Democratic Change’s Deputy Party take over the position he won during the hotly contested race.
Mwiru replaces NRM’s Igeme Nabeta who lost the race after his earlier victory was challenged in court over electoral malpractices.
