The Kampala Catholic Church Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has decried the level at which false intelligence claims have poisoned president Museveni’s minds.
Speaking during the Mass held at Old Kampala Secondary school, Lwanga said that some members of Internal Security Organization (ISO) have wrongly painted an impression as if the church is against president Museveni.
“President we are not your enemies, whatever you are being told about church leaders is false. We are only enemies of bad governance not you.” Lwanga clarified.
Lwanga added that some of these spies need to stop misleading the president.
He also noted that the church has no political ambitions, and they will continue cooperating with leaders at all levels so that God’s people can get better governance and a corruption free society.
