There was drama at Police Head office in Naguru, Kampala as Former District Police Commander of Buyende Muhammad Kirumira clashed with other officer media coverage.
Journalists who were earlier blocked by officials forced the embattled DPC to shunned police disciplinary court proceedings.
This was after journalists were blocked from entering the premises, something that Kirumira described as lawlessness of the highest order.
“What type of court is this that denies Media access to court proceedings, what do they want to do to me and what are they hiding from the public?” Kirumira shouted while flexing with officers attempting to deny the media access.
A few minutes later, Kirumira, who faces charges of indiscipline drove away from the court which was due to rule on the charges today.
