On Saturday, 14th April, the first ever Cavendish University Cultural Gala was held. It was an afternoon of incredible performances, immense culture, music, food and energy from the 13 Nationalities that participated. The collaborations and synergies were worth everything.
Students raised their nations’ flags high as one and all joined in celebrating the uniqueness of their particular country of birth.
This year’s finalists raised the bar quite high and wowed the audience with their concepts. Choosing a winner was a difficult task – with the top three contenders coming within just a point of each other – but in the end, Burundi took the crown.
