Nyamityobora FC from Western Region has qualified for the Uganda Premier League on sporting merit. A 2-1 win over rivals Kitara FC on Thursday afternoon in Mbarara handed Nyamityobora the three precious points to create a 10 point gap in the Rwenzori Group, that can’t be covered up by second placed team even if they won their remaining three matches of the season. Mukhongota Robert and Matovu Bruhan were on target for Nyamityobora to take their team to 48 points.
