Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party president Gen. Mugisha Muntu has called upon the youth across the country to unite and forego political differences if they are to develop and overcome Museveni’s dictatorial regime.
Muntu made these comments while presiding over the finals of a football league in Paya, Tororo along with Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssetamu over the weekend.
This event brought together 52 clans, with Morwa Guma and Ramogi making it to the finals. Morwa Guma went on to win the game.
“The youth’s ability to bring together people from various social and political backgrounds for one cause is a testament to our ability as a nation to put our personal/political issues aside and focus on bringing Uganda out of the dangerous free fall it is facing today.” He said.
Muntu noted that It is time for Ugandan youth to take their rightful place in the affairs of the nation: not as mere spectators, but as participants.
