Full list of the 22 magistrates transferred

At least 22 Judicial Officers at the ranks of Registrars, Deputy Registrars, Chief Magistrates and Magistrates Grade One, have been shuffled.
According to the transfer schedule released by the Ag. Chief, HW Isaac Muwata,10 of the judicial officers deployed were recently appointed on promotion by the Judicial Service Commission. Twelve other officers were transferred to different stations.
HW Muwata explained that the reasons for the transfers included officers who had overstayed at stations, improving service delivery and filing positions in the recently created magisterial areas.
He said all the transfers shall be effective on 1st June 2018.

  • HW Nabaggala Sylvia Mbuga – Industrial Court
  • HW Nabakooza Flavia Kalungi – Mukono High Court
  • HW Bareebe Rosemary Ngabirano – Lira High Court
  • HW Kaweesa Godfrey – Judicial Training Institute
  • HW Kaitesi Kisaakye Mary – Family Division

  • HW Chemeri Jessica – Iganga
  • HW Kagoda Samuel Ntende – Hoima
