The inspector General of Police Martine Okoth Ochola has unconditionally halted the meeting with the Forum for Democratic Change’s women in protest against women killings.
Making a comment via his twitter handle, Ochola said that he received the letter calling for a meeting but he is unable to meet them.
“I have received a letter from the Women’s Protesting Working Group, requesting to meet me tomorrow to deliver their petition. Am unable to meet them. I have tasked my PA to arrange for another date.” He posted.
Ochola added that he is willing to meet the group on a date and time to be determined by the organizers and my Personal assistant but not tomorrow.
