The forum for Democratic Change Women League in partnership with the Women Protest Working Group have threatened not to accept IGP Okoth Ochola’s claims of being too busy to meet them tomorrow.

Speaking while appearing on KFM Hot seat, the women league spokesperson Sarah Eperu said that the team notified the Uganda Police force one week back but the force has been having a poor attitude towards meeting them.

She says that there is no time to waste in waiting for the IGP as women continue being kidnapped with nothing being done.

She wondered whether the police was part of the kidnapers to delay such a sensitive matter.

According to the organizers, women were planning to meet the IGP Ochola on Tuesday 5th May to discuss the matter of women murders in the country.

However on the late response IGP Ochola said that he received a letter from the Women’s Protesting Working Group, requesting to meet him tomorrow to deliver their petition. “Am unable to meet them. I have tasked my PA to arrange for another date.” He said.
