President Museveni, the First lady Janet Museveni and other government officials have this afternoon attended slain Arua Member of Parliament’s Hon. Ibrahim Abiriga’s Burial.
The officials who were all donned in yellow the ‘ruling party colour’ revealed that this was done as a way of showing the love they had for the fallen lawmaker who never took off his yellow outfits.
Speaking to the mourners, Museveni revealed that efforts have been put forward to see how the killers are brought to book.
He added that there is high probability that Hon. Abiriga’s killing was a political assassination because of his commitment to the NRM. If that is the case, the killers have miscalculated and shown their mental bankruptcy.
