President Museveni
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni underscored the need of Ugandans to change their mindset.
Speaking during the Budget reading session at Serena Hotel, Museveni said that the tendency of Ugandans focusing on issues benefiting their bellies must stop.
Museveni noted that on matters of transforming the country are so easy to handle but the only challenge is that some leaders are selfish.
He said money is not his problem, transforming people’s mindset is the challenge that needs to be tackled.
Museveni also added that there is need to create another fund to the unprivileged youths who have no property to use as collateral securities but interested in venturing in production.
He noted that this will not only create employment for the youths but will transform the entire economy since the neglected youth are a potential investment for the country.
