The opposition Forum for Democratic Change Proscovia Salaam Musumba has said Ugandans should stop attacking the embattled former inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura.
Speaking while appearing on The Frontline talkashow, Musumba said that Kayihura executed all his duties on the orders of his boss president Museveni therefore blaming him alone is unfair since they committed sins together.
“Kayihura was Museveni’s loyal dog, all he did was done orders from above therefore they all deserve to detained at this time.” She said.
Kayihura who was picked from his country home in Kasagama in Lyantonde district about two weeks ago is now locked up in Makindye military barracks over charges that shall soon be revealed by the State.
There has been speculation about the reasons for his arrest together with several senior police officers with some attributing it to their involvement in the murder of the former police spokesperson, Andrew Felix Kaweesi, organised crime, espionage and illegal extradition of Rwandan refugees.
