The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda has advised the ruling party not to be excited about the 3 decades they have been in power but ask themselves how long they think they will remain there.
Speaking while appearing on the Capital Gang early this morning, Ssemujju described the National Resistance Movement as a weak party that is only sailing on the State institutions but not a strong party foundation.
Ssemujju says NRM will also soon collapse like Dr. Apollo Milton Obote’s Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) that got crippled after he was ejected from power.
On speaking about the upcoming local Council elections, Ssemujju said Village council elections are important and Ugandans should participate.
“The councils’ roles are clearly outlined by law but they are abused. I attach some importance to village councils.” He added.
