As many Ugandans cursed the day the government developed the idea to tax social media usage, NBS TV’s ‘Katch Up’ presenter Anita Fabiola was supporting the tax.
“Stop blaming the government for your problems. Thanks,” she wrote.
According to her, she thinks that Ugandans need to pay the tax for her business to keep going on.
The socialite explained why she thinks people should ‘just pay’ the new tax because people like them need those likes and comments for business.
Fabiola’s comments seem to have incited the already angry social media users who immediately reacted to her statement with some calling her ‘selfish’ because her opinion did not consider the poor.
