Abenakyo Quiin, was on Friday 10th August crowned Miss Uganda 2018/19.
The 22 year old campuser was announced at a glamorous Red Carpet event held at the Kampala Serena Hotel beating 22 other finalists from all corners of the country to take the crown.
Born and raised from Mayuge District in Busoga region, Abenakyo is currently pursuing a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Computing at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
Abenakyo takes over from Leah Kagasa (Miss Uganda 2016), who had the crown for 2 years as the pageant was not held in 2017.
