Former presidential Candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye yesterday spent the day in Bukanga County, Isingiro District on a Mobilisation campaign in an attempt to win more people in the struggle to defeat president Museveni regime amidst unrealistic party grievances.
Besigye also prayed with the people at St. Paul Endiizi CoU and directly interacted with the people who recently voted FDC Candidate Aaron Turahi as Mayor Endiizi Town Council defeating NRM candidate that had direct support of Museveni and his brothers in Isingiro.
Speaking to the hundreds for supporters, Besigye tasked Ugandans to become firm since the liberation struggle is soon becoming a success.
The veteran politician says Isingiro is setting an example of how to fight Museveni governement non-violently. He urged the people to fight harder to challenge Museveni and fail it.
As it has always been, people collected hundreds of thousands of shillings to support the struggle.
Besigye was joined by MP Roland Kaginda, Sheema People’s MP Virginia Plan Mugyenyi, former FDC President Gen. Mugisha Muntu, Secretary for Mobilisation Ingrid Turinawe, Governor Mbarara Stanley Katembeya, former MP Vicent Mujuni Kyamadidi, Imam Makumbi and several other FDC officials from Western Uganda.
