The pictures of the detained Mityana lawmaker Francis Zaake’s pictures have shocked the nation.
Zaake is among the four MPs arrested on Monday over chaos that ensued on the last day of the campaigns for Arua Municipality that left at least one person dead.
The pictures seen by this website reveal the youthful MP haplessly sleeping with swollen face, wounds on different body parts.
The other MP’s in custody are Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu, Gerald Karuhanga and Paul Mwiru. According to police the MP’s had guns.
By press time, The Ntungamo municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Gerald Karuhanga had been transferred from Arua to Gulu main police station.

Me thinks we have gone back to about 50 years ago, this kind of tourture of an MP is a shame to President M7 and people are showing him the repurcasions by voting the opposition!
