Beaten, jailed and tortured Mintyana Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Francis Zzake, has been transferred to Rubaga hospital in Kampala.
According to our insider, the youthful legislator remains in a critical condition, can’t eat, walk, sit or even talk.
Zzake’s condition follows the brutal arrest in Arua on Monday 13th August, and is said to have been dropped at the health facility by army men who immediately left.
Zzake is one of the lawmakers who were arrested at Pacific Hotel in Arua on Monday.
Among the other arrested is the newly elected Arua Municipality lawmaker Hon. Kassiano Wadir, Jinja East MP Hon. Paul Mweru, Hon. Gerald Karuhanga (Ntungamo municipality), Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine (Kyadondo East), former Makindye West MP Mike Mabike, Activist Kasule Ismail among others and all these are facing treason charges.
