Protests have this morning broken out again in Kamwokya, a Kampala surburb.
This follows the arrest of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine at Entebbe airport where he had gone for board a plane for better treatment in India.
Bobi wine was grabbed by security operatives, dragged in a military van and driven off to a government owned Mulago hospital based in Kiruddu along Salaama Road.
According to his wife, Barbie Kagulanyi said that the police violently abducted Bobi Wine from the airport, forced him into a police ambulance and is being driven to unknown destination.
Demonstrators in Kampala have now taken to the streets again following the dramatic re-arrest of Bobi Wine. Smoke from lit roadblocks on Old Kira Road could be seen billowing above Bobi Wine’s home in Kamwokya on Friday morning.
