Former Buyende District Police Commander Muhammad Kirumira has been killed by yet to be identified assailants.
The incident happened this evening a few meters away from his home in Bulenga a Kampala suburb.
Kirumira was driving along with his wife and the duo were gunned down on spot.
A source at the scene indicates that they have all been rushed to Rubaga hospital.
