Uganda police spokesperson Afaande Emilian Kayima has refuted claims that he was chased like a rat during the funeral of fallen former Buyende district commander Muhammad Kirumira in Mpigi.
Emilian who was talking to the media early this morning, noted that no one tempted to chase him.
He says that he was involved in a runoff from the venue because it was threatening as if it was going to rain, therefore he had to vanish.
It should be noted that Kayima along with the Minister of Internal Affairs Gen. Jeje Odong tasted a free copy of frustrated Ugandans who heckled them and threatened to lynch them.
Kayima was also not allowed to settle in the tent that had been prepared for them. It all started as the duo arrived to attend the burial but the mourners started chanting people power and bottles started flying in the air towards the government officials.
