The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has attacked President Museveni describing him as a person staying in the past.
Speaking during the press conference held at the party headquarters early this morning, the party president Patrick Amuriat said that what the police has failed to handle, no Local Defense Unite (LDU) member can handle.
Amuriat says president Museveni needs to clean his house before thinking of unpredictable solutions.
He further reveals that the party is going to launch a private investigation into the continuous killing of Ugandans by unknown assailants.
This follows the death of the former Buyende District Police Commander (DPC) Muhammad Kirumira who was gunned down on Saturday together with Resty Nalinya at Bulenga a Kampala suburb.
Amuriat adds that government has failed to ensure justice prevails since no report has been given for the previous killings.
“Very many people and originations have already launched interest in supporting to see this process becomes a success” he noted.
Kirumira’s shooting happened exactly three months after the former Arua municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga was also killed in a similar manner. Others who have also been gunned down recently is Maj. Kiggundu, AIGP Felix Kaweesi, Joan Kagezi among others.
