Kenyan Man Attacked for Celebrating Death of Local Musician

A Mombasa-based man named Rodgers Jasembo on Tuesday, October 2, celebrated the death of his friend and local musician whom he claimed conned him.

In a pathetic Facebook post that has fast gone viral and seen by TUKO.co.ke, Rodgers claimed he was very happy the deceased, identified as Jerry Jalamo, had finally died after taking him round in circles when he was asking for his money back.

According to Rodgers, Jerry who was once a popular local musician owed him money and had failed to pay back even after countless reminders and efforts.

Am today feeling happy because this conman is gone after conning me thousands of shillings and avoiding me plus our contract. You can never go anywhere with some else’s money apart from the grave,” Rodgers captioned Jerry’s photos on Facebook.

The man’s post however rubbed quite a number of people the wrong way, leading to a merciless troll that saw him being reduced to an evil man. Most people held Rodgers crossed the line by talking ill of the deceased with many asking him to at least respect the dead.

Others backed Rodgers saying he was just right, especially if Jerry died a ‘con’.

Jerry  died on Tuesday, October 2, after a long battle with illness.
