The Uganda Police force has already deployed heavily on most routes connecting to Entebbe International Airport ahead of the return of Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Francis Zaake.

Zaake has been in India for extensive medication following the injuries sustained during the 13th August Arua mayhem when the security operatives clashed with the opposition supporters resulting into the murder of one Yusuf Kawuma and arrest of over 30 people.

According to police, they have received intelligence that there are groups of people mobilizing people to cause chaos as the youthful lawmaker returns home.

The Deputy Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango says they have not received any written communication from anyone planning to receive the Zaake as far as the Public Order Management Act (POMA) recommends.

“Hon. Zaake will only be received by his immediate relatives and will be given enough security that will escort him to his home. Police will further ensure law and order for all road users.” Onyango states.
