Walukagga Shafik alias Fik Fameica has been all over the moon for these two years he has been at the top of his game, let alone appearing on the Bebe cool list and winning awards in the country he has started getting international recognition.
Fik Fameica who was all over the moon over his international nomination alongside other African artists Fik had to rush to his face book page and posted about his nomination and thanking his fans “Shout out to all my loyal fans, this one is for you…. My first ever international nomination comes from @NEA Awards in a category of “Best Male African Artist Non Nigerian”. I am truly honored and congrats to other nominees y’all incredible”. He was nominated in the category of best male artist non Nigerian.
Fik Fameica has joined deejay Roja and slick Stuart who were the last Ugandans nominated and won in these awards, other Uganda artists who were nominated this year include Sheebah Karungi in the category of best female artist non Nigerian and Cindy Sanyu for best role in movie non Nigeria in her movie Bella.
