Police has finally given a nod to artiste Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga Concert at his One Love Beach in Busabaala.
This comes after police refused to clear Bobi Wine’s concert that was initially scheduled at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole before management declined on grounds that the pitch will be under maintenance for the forthcoming 2019 Afcon game qualifiers between Uganda Cranes and Cape Verde.
This cancellation of venue prompted Bobi Wine real names Robert Kyagulanyi, Kyadondo East MP to relocate the concert to his One Love Beach, Busabaala on November 10th.
The latest is that police through Auman Mugenyi, director, operations has cleared Bobi Wine’s concert in Busabaala and vowed to provide necessary security.
On behalf of IGG Okoth Ochola, Mugenyi has ordered Commander, Kampala Metropolitan Police to “liaise with the organisers and appropriately provide the required services.”
