Embattled Executive Director of Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) Ms. Jolly Kaguhangire has finally been sacked.
According to the letter dated 26th October signed by the Board Chairperson, Ms Kaguhangire’s departure works with immediate effect.
“The board [UIA] has resolved in a special meeting of October 26, 2018 to terminate your employment contract as executive director with immediate effect,” the letter reads.
Months back, Ms Kaguhangire was suspended from office pending the investigations into issues related misuse of office, gross insubordination, incompetence among others.
