Uganda won re-election to the Council of the International Telecommunications union, being among the African countries that will serve from 2018-2022.
The council is the highest decision making body of the union that drums up policy in key issues like spectrum management among others.
The campaign team was led by The Minister of Information Communication Technology and National Guidance Hon Frank K Tumwebaze,who doubled as Head of delegation too.
