The Uganda police force has this evening issued fresh guidelines ahead of the highly anticipated Kyarenga Concert.
Speaking to the media this afternoon, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Luke Oweyesigire said that the force together with the team of Bouncer’s Association has been deployed heavily at the venue to ensure that everything becomes a success.
He added that there is no one who be allowed to access the ungazetted areas though police officers will not have restricted entry at One Love beach.
He also revealed that processions to and from the venue will not be allowed.
“ I want people to know that Kyarenga is an entertainment show therefore whoever goes there with a different agenda either political or causing chaos is advised to reach the venue.” He warned.
