Two Uganda’ Police Officers IP Joshua Cheptegei and IP Stella Chesang have won gold in the men’s and women’s categories respectively at the NN Zevenheuvelenloop (Seven Hills Race) in Nijmegen Netherlands.
The duo who were both promoted to the rank of Inspector of Police last in April this year just after their stint at the Commonwealth Games in Australia, once again brought gold back home.
Cheptegei broke the world 15km record with 41:03, setting a new record.
In October, Cheptegei and Chesang won gold in the FNB Durban 10km City Run.
