Min. Hillary Onek has this afternoon received 700 pieces of Prime AZ Iron Sheets (Guage 28) from Roofings Uganda Limited.
According to Dr. Sikander Lalani, the Chairman of roofings group, this was to support the construction of housing facilities for the resettlement of the Bududa Landslide Survivors.
While receiving the iron sheets, along with other iron and plastic construction materials, at the Roofings Factory in Namanve this afternoon, Minister Onek said that these materials will help in the constitution of over 20 houses in this resettlement phase.
This noble cause follows the recent landslides that claimed over 40 people’s lives.
