Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool
Musician Turned politicians Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has congratulated longtime rival for making the Pearl of Africa proud at the prestigious AFRIMA Awards.
Singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool was crowned Best Male musician (East Africa) beating other top stars like Tanzania’s Diamond Platnunz.
Bobi Wine noted that he is very pleased that Uganda performed exceptionally well at Afrima 2018 where I was invited as a panelist and special guest.
“I congratulate fellow Ugandan artistes who won awards- Irene Namatovu (Best artist in African Traditional), Bebe Cool (Best Male, East Africa) and Sandra Nankoma (Best Female Artist, African Inspirational Music). Thank you for raising our flag high.” He stated.
Bobi Wine also handedover the Afrima honorary Legendary Award to the Legendary Ghanaian band, Osibisa for their immense contribution to music in Africa and the world.
