The UFFA 2018 kick started Monday last week with free screening of movies by the audience who were voting every after screening, the festival was climaxed with an awarding ceremony that took place at Serena hotel on Friday where film actors, actresses, directors and producers were awarded.
The awards that are in their 6th edition was dominated by Veronica’s wish film that scooped nine awards in best cinematography, best script among others.
The movie features actors like Malaika Nyanzi, Hussein Moushema, Nisha Nakalema who scooped the best female artist and the legendary Simon Base Kalema. It was on the same night that abbey Mukiibi was awarded Special recognition for lifetime Award.
