Kenyan actor, Jamal Nasoor who featured in some of Kenya’s popular TV programmes such as NTV’s Auntie Boss, Junior aired on KTN and KBC’s Vioja Mahakamani died on the night of Tuesday, December 11
Jamal, popularly known as Baba Junior is said to have been stabbed to death by his girlfriend, Ms Grace Kanamu at the Arks Hotel near 67 Airport hotel, following an argument.
According to TUKO.co.ke, the two checked in at the hotel after attending a party in Mlolongo, Machakos County where the actor was later stabbed and murdered by the long time girlfriend.
According to sources, the actor died after a quarrel with his alleged lover, after he asked her why she was dancing and accepting alcoholic drinks from men who had attended a bash she had organized at Arks Hotel.
The two, who had been in the relationship for nine months, retreated to a nearby butcher’s shop to resolve their differences.
Due to failure to find a solution to their quarrel, the disagreement turned violent, after which the suspect is said to have picked a knife and stabbed the 39-year-old star in the chest, causing heavy bleeding that led to his death.
Nasoor was rushed to Shalom Hospital in Mlolongo after the incident but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The matter was reported at Mlolongo Police Station and confirmed by Athi River Police boss Sharma Wario. Police launched investigations to unravel the mysterious death.
The Forty year-old Ms Kanamu is currently locked up at Mlolongo police station and is expected to be arraigned in court on Thursday.
