Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine was filled with joy after wife Barbie Kyagulanyi was recognized with a honorary award for her good works by the Aid Child Leadership Institute (ALI).
Bobi Wine could not hide his excitement after learning about his wife’s achievement for the role she played in trying to impact on the lives of the Ugandan girl child and her good mentor ship skills exhibited.
“Last year’s recipient was the Speaker of the 10th Parliament Rebecca Kadaga and this year I am proud that my wife’s involvement in impacting lives of the Ugandan girl child got her recognized for the same,” he said.
According to Bobi Wine, he says that the wife rightfully deserves the award because she has worked so hard to change the life of the girl child.
“This Cordeiro Excellence in Leadership Award you so deserve my love Barbie Kyagulanyi.
We are proud of you #FirstLady, keep doing the great work,” he revealed.
The award is an appreciation for the work that Barbie does under her organisation caring hearts Uganda that aims at empowering and skilling Uganda’s unprivileged girl child.
