Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has today played a Father Christmas role to victims of land evictions in Lusanja, Wakiso district.
According to the legislator, the evictees do not have a roof on their heads yet, but at least they can have a decent meal with their children on Christmas day.
“Today, I visited the people of Lusanja who were evicted from their homes, and shared with them foodstuffs and other items for Christmas,” Bobi Wine later said. I appreciate my friends who contributed to this cause. I encourage those of us who are able, to use this season to reach out to those who are less fortunate and give them a hand- the hungry and thirsty, the homeless and sick, the destitute and prisoners.” He stated.
Bobi wine added that he gives not because he has a lot, but because he knows how it feels to have nothing.
Among the items Bobi Wine donated included; a bull which the people slaughtered in his presence and sacks of other food stuffs.
