Uganda has Taught Al shabaab unforgettable Lessons – Muhoozi

Special presidential advisor on Military affairs Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba has praised the Uganda people’s Defense forces (UPDF) for the tremendous work done overtime.

This came in memory of a photoshoped picture of the First Son and the Head of State Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

According to Muhoozi, Someone photoshopped two photos 9 years ago. I was having a really bad day. Al Shabaab had just killed over 80 Ugandans at Lugogo Rugby Grounds and Kabalagala.

“We responded in strength and taught Al Shabaab a lesson it will never forget.” He stated.

Uganda has over the years counter attacked the Alshabaab and a series of crackdowns and arrests have been carried out in and outside the country to see that the Pearl of Africa becomes a safer place.

UPDF remains the biggest troop contributing force to the 22,00 regional peace keeping force in Somalia.

Several militant groups still control parts of Somalia. The Amisom forces are expected to hand over security to Somali troops by 2020.
