Controversial Rtd Maj Gen Kasirye Gwanga has given last warning to Golden Band’s singer Catherine Kusasira and asked her to stop taking people’s rights and freedoms for granted.
Speaking to our insider, Kasirye has advised Kusasira to go and report him to the president for having have disciplined her.
The furious veteran soldier says the excited singer and her friends need to take their ‘stupid’ noise to other places but not closer to his family members.
These comments follow yesterday’s incident that happened in Makindye a Kampala suburb where Maj Gen. Kasirye was allegedly involved in a brawl with Kusasira’s aids over noise pollution.
According an eyewitness, Gwanga reportedly shot at Kusasira’s vehicle registration number, UAY 083Y after the occupants refused to turn down the loud music they were playing when Kasirye’s children were buying groceries at a nearby supermarket.
The children reportedly threatened to call their father, which didn’t move the occupants in Kusasira’s vehicle.
Kasirye arrived amidst the confusion and also asked the driver of Kusasira’s vehicle to turn down the loud music. The driver reportedly ignored him, saying he wasn’t above the law and that there was nothing he could do something that forced him to order his bodyguard to bring his AK-47 rifle from the vehicle and shot at the tyres of Kusasira’s vehicle.
Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, says police was immediately called to the scene.
“Police was called. They visited the scene and the case was registered under SD reference 107/29/1/2019. Investigations are ongoing,” Onyango said.
